A festive evening of musical entertainment from Jane Austen’s world of domestic concerts, balls and Christmas gaieties, accompanied by evocative accounts from her letters and novels. Presented by Jane Troughton and Bellissime. Bellissime is an ensemble who specialise in performing music from Yorkshire country houses, drawing upon anecdotes and readings from the social life of the time.
